3D Facial Reconstruction · Combat Shrapnel Injury
An officer sustained a shrapnel blast injury during the 44-day war in 2020. Before coming to us he had undergone several interventions. Over time facial asymmetry developed: left eye dropped lower, zygomatic arch collapsed, tearing, restricted mouth opening. A 3D pre-surgical plan guided reconstruction of the orbital floor and zygomatic arch with custom titanium implants. The officer returned to active duty.
